I had an incredible stay at a waterfront lodge in Puerto Ayora. My room had breathtaking views of the sea lions and bay, and I could even hear the tides flowing through the mangroves. The proximity to nature was truly amazing and so calming. The room itself was bright and clean, and I appreciated the eco-friendly touch of high-quality bathroom products that were not in small disposable bottles. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even assisting me in finding a doctor when I needed one. I also booked a day trip on-site, which was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it. The restaurant at the lodge was fantastic, with delicious food and a stunning view of the wildlife around. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The view was great and we were able to spot some nice looking birds. The hotel staff is friendly. They gave us two complementary drinks when we arrived, which was a nice surprise. It's located right by the water, so there's a nice breeze that comes in and cools you off. It's also very close to the town, so it was easy to go out and explore.
The hotel needs some serious renovation. Our room smelled bad and was infested with bugs.

Great location, with easy access to key tourist spots. We were able to get some nice shots of sea lions and sea iguanas from the hotel. The food was acceptable and they provided refillable water bottles.
The hotel staff was quite lazy and unresponsive. At times, it felt like we were interrupting their leisure time when we asked for help.
